The G300 Jet Pack, as the name suggests, is designed to fit on the front of the Le Maitre G300 smoke machine to increase the velocity and hence the throw and dissipation of the smoke produced.

The G300 Jet Packs simply attaches to the front of the G300 smoke machine via the three fixing screws used to mount the ducting adaptor. A short power cable (provided) then connects the electrical supply to the Jet Pack from the G300’s accessory Powercon socket on the rear of the machine - sometimes referred to as the Freeze Fog Pro power outlet.

A compressed air supply (or inert gas such as nitrogen or CO2) is then connected to the side of the Jet Pack via the quick-connect coupling.

The Jet Pack is designed to run at 25 Bar and uses the Coanda effect to amplify the compressed air input by a factor of 16x. This has the effect of sucking the smoke from the G300 and blasting it forwards increasing the throw of the machine and helping to dissipate the smoke so you avoid the undesired scene of clouds of thick white smoke entering from one side of a stage and nothing from the other!

This Jet Pack can also be used for masks and reveals as well as steam blast simulation and anywhere that requires a violent blast of smoke. A ducting adapter can be fitted to the front of the Jet Pack enabling the smoke to be ducted over much greater distances than would normally be possible.

The Jet Pack automatically fires when the smoke output of the G300 is turned on, there is no need for any separate control.
